Young fold mountain have been formed later than the Old Fold Mountains. They have steep slopes, deep valleys, and sharp pointed snow covered peaks. They are much higher than the old fold mountains and have rough topography. The Himalayas, Alps,Andes and Rockies are examples of young fold mountains.
