Answer:

 \blue { Zero \: of \: a \: polynomial }

 \orange {A \: real \: number \: \green {a}} ,

is \:a \: polynomial \:p(x) \: if \: \pink {p(a) = 0}

Example:

 \red { Find \: a\:zero \: of\:the\: polynomial}

\red {p(x) = 3x+1}

 \green {Solution }

Finding a zero of p(x) , is same as solving as

solving the equation

p(x) = 0

i.e 3x + 1 = 0

=> 3x = -1

 \implies x = \frac{-1}{3}

 So, \pink {\frac{-1}{3}} \: is \: a \: zero \:of \: the \\polynomial \: 3x+1
