Answer:

Heterotrophic nutrition is a type of nutrition in which organisms directly or indirectly depend on autotrophs for nourishment. They're referred to as heterotrophs. They are unable to cook for themselves. All eukaryotes, with the exception of green plants, are unable to create their own sustenance. Food comes from other living things. Nutrition of this kind is also known as heterotrophic nutrition.

Except for blood and intestinal parasites, all heterotrophs need to transform solid food into soluble substances that can be absorbed (digestion).

The organism subsequently breaks down the soluble byproducts of digestion for the release of energy (respiration). All heterotrophs are food-dependent on autotrophs.
