A mechanical force can be defined as a force that features some direct contact between two objects (one applying the force and another which is in a state of rest or in a state of motion) and results in the production of a change in the state of the object (state of rest or state of motion).
Example of Mechanical Force:
A common example of mechanical force is the closing and opening of traditional doors. In order to open or close a door, A human being must come in contact with the door and apply a force to change the state of the door. Typically, the door is in a state of rest and a force must be applied to it in order to put it into a state of motion (the opening or the closing of the door).
