The law of constant composition says that, in any particular chemical compound, all samples of that compound will be made up of the same elements in the same proportion or ratio. For example, any water molecule is always made up of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom in a 2:1 ratio.

Hlo mate! Here is your answer:

Law of Constant Proportion:

Law of Constant Proportion states that a compound extracted from any source will have the same elementary composition and in a fixed proportion by mass.

For example:

Take the example of the most common solvent, water, H₂O.

Lets say person A has distilled water, person B has tap water and person C has sea-water.

Elementary Composition:

In each of the cases, water being the same compund will consist of the same elements, i.e., Hydrogen and Oxygen, it doesnt depend on the source, it may be distillation flask, or water from the tap, or from the sea, the composition will be same.

Proportion:

Water in each case is H₂O, so the ratio is mass of Hydrogen/mass of Oxygen, which is equal to 1/16.
