Alcohol dependence is a previous psychiatric diagnosis in which an individual is physically or psychologically dependent upon alcohol (also known formally as ethanol). In 2013 it was reclassified as alcohol use disorder (alcoholism) along with alcohol abuse in DSM-5.[1]

Answer: Alcohol dependence syndrome is a psychiatric disorder in which a person becomes physically or psychologically dependent on alcohol. In other words the person has intensive desire for the drinks containing alcohol. It is a progressive disorder which may cause death of the organism.
Due to excessive alcohol intake person may be mentally disturbed and can suffer from muscle incoordination.
