Redox.

a joining or merging of different parts or qualities in which the component elements are individually distinct.

Chemical decomposition, analysis or breakdown is the separation of a single chemical compound into its two or more elemental parts or to simpler compounds. Chemical decomposition is usually regarded and defined as the exact opposite of chemical synthesis

A single-displacement reaction, also known as a single-replacement reaction, is a reaction by which one element replaces an/other element in a compound. It can be represented generically as: A + B-C → A-C + B This will most often occur if A is more reactive than B, thus giving a more stable product.

A salt metathesis reaction, sometimes called a double replacement reaction, double displacement reaction, or double decomposition reaction, is a chemical process involving the exchange of bonds between ...

Combustion, or burning, is a high-temperature exothermic redox chemical reaction between a fuel and an oxidant, usually atmospheric oxygen, that produces oxidized, often gaseous products, in a mixture termed as smoke. Combustion in a fire produces a flame, and the heat produced can make combustion self-sustaining.

Redox is a chemical reaction in which the oxidation states of atoms are changed. Any such reaction involves both a reduction process and a complementary oxidation process, two key concepts involved with electron transfer processes.

There are 5 types of chemical reactions whuch are represented by equations. Ther are:

● Combination reaction- The reaction in which two substances react to form a singke product.

● Decomposition Reaction- The reaction in which a single substance splits up into two or more simpler substances.

● Displacement reaction- The reaction in which a more reactive metal displaces a less reactive metal from its solution.

● Double Displacement reaction- The reaction in which new compounds are formed as a result of exchange of ions.

● Redox reaction- reduction and oxidation reaction.

☆ reduction- addition of hydrogen and removal of oxygen.

☆ oxidation- addition of oxygen and removal of hydrogen.

Hopes so it will help you!
