Cardiac muscle (also called heart muscle or myocardium) is one of three types of vertebrate muscles, with the other two being skeletal and smooth muscles. It is an involuntary, striated muscle that constitutes the main tissue of the walls of the heart.

they are found in wall of heart.
it has features of both- Striated qnd Unstriatee muscles.
like striated muscles...........it has straiations.
like unstriated muscles......it never gets tired.
it has branches that join together..
each branch has a definite nucleus.
they are controlled by pacemaker.
they work throughout the life.
