Chromatin: a thread- like network present inside the nucleus is called chromatin.

chromosomes: the chromatin organises itself into rod - like structure when the cell has to devide. These rod like structure are called chromosomes.

Nucleoid: A prokaryotic cell does not have a nuclear membrane around the nucleus. The nucleus, in this case , is referred to as nucleoid.
