Hi !

A desert is a place where it is covered with either sand or snow. The desert which is covered with snow is known as "Cold Desert". Whereas, the desert which is covered with sand is known as "Hot Desert". The largest hot desert is Thar desert which is in the western part of India, it covers small parts of Pakistan too. The largest cold desert is Antarctica which is also known as a continent. Deserts have a very low rainfall. Animals that live in hot desert are Camel and Donkey. Animals that live in cold desert are Polar Bear as well as Penguin. Deserts are infertile.
