Hi friend,
The Prevention of Corruption act says that - “A public servant commits the offense of criminal misconduct if he is in possession of pecuniary resources or property, disproportionate to his known sources of income”.
This means a condition in which a person's net economic assets significantly exceed the assets they should probably possess after accounting for the assets that they previously held and all legal sources of income.
Hope it helps!
