Electric field :

We have seen electric field always due to a charge particle at a particular point in space or may be simply defined as force experience by a unit positive charge in a supposed place at that particular point.

The strength of electric field is termed as its intensity.

Let suppose,

F be the force acting on a unit positive charge $q_{0}$ placed at a particular point in an electric field,

then Its intensity will be,

$E = \frac{F}{q_{0}}$

where F and E is a vector quantity and charge $q_{0}$ is scaler quantity.

SI unit will be $NC^{-1}$.
