The process of eliminating metabolic waste or undigested food/ material/product from body. Excretion refers throwing off and separation of waste material or toxic substance from the cells or tissues from plants and body , and maintains osmotic pressure.

It is the process to regulate the composition of body fluids and tissues.

Ex.of excretion products:  Urea, Carbon-di-Oxide
