Marketing can be described as the actions of a company that are associated with the selling and buying any service or product. It features promotion, trade, and transportation of merchandise to the consumers. People that are employed in any company’s marketing sector aim at getting the interest and attention of a targeted audience. They do so by utilizing fresh slogans, unique packaging designs, famous celebrity support (endorsements) and the usual media promotion.
The basic elements of this process are mentioned below- which are also called the "Four Ps":
- classification, assortment, and expansion of a product,
- the decision over its price,
- choice of an allotment outlet to get to the clientele’s position, and
- growth and functioning of a promotional scheme.
