characteristics:

1) triploblastic( hope u know what the heck is triploblastic)

{it is body made up of three layer of cells)

2) they are flat ( also called flatworms)

3)they have bilaterally symmetric body

{ this means the left and right halves of the body has the same design}

4) they are mostly parasitic organisms

5) some of them are free living too.

example: tape worm{ idk what this stuff is, but just I know it is flat}
