polynomial means the quadratic equation with more than 4 values
monomial means 1 value only
binomial means more than 2 values
trinomial means more than 3 values

Monomial:A polynomial is said to be a monomial if it contains only one term,i.e.either a constant or a variable,or a product of both.
binomial:A polynomial is said to be a binomial if it contains two unlike terms.
