Preposition :-

A word that shows where the first noun is in the relation to the second noun in sentence is called preposition. Pre means before, position means place. i.e., a word that is placed before a noun or pronoun.

Preposition are of two kinds :-

1. Simple Preposition

2. Compound Preposition

1. Simple Preposition- These prepositions are Simple in nature; for example: at, for, in, form,etc.

2. Compound Preposition:- These prepositions are formed by prefixing a preposition to a noun, an adjective an adverb; for example: about, across, along, among, etc.

Conjunction :-

A conjunction is a word which merely joins together groups of words and sometimes words.

Conjunction are divided into two classes :-

1. Coordinating conjunction

2. Subordinating conjunction

1. Coordinating Conjunction:- A coordinating conjunctions join together clauses of equal rank.

Some cheif coordinating conjunctions are :-

and, but, for, or, nor, also, either...or, neither..nor.

2. Subordinating conjunction :- A subordinating conjunction join us clause to another on which it depends for its full meaning.

Some chief subordinating conjunctions are :-

after, because, if, that, though, although, till,

before, unless, as, since, when, where, while.
