Well A pure substance is a chemical. 
Like Tin, sulfur, and diamond are some of the pure substances.

a pure substance is one which is made up of only one kind of particle . a pure substance is homogeneous throughout its mass. a pure substance cannot be separated into other kind of matter by and physical process.
