Heat can be transferred from one matter to another by three processes .
- Conduction : heat transfers from molecule to molecule by vibration. (iron rod)
- Convection: heat transfers by shifting of the lighter air and sinking of the colder air. (sea breeze and land breeze)
- Radiation: an object emits light in all directions without the help of any medium. (our sun)
We can also understand these three like this:(1.) passing a book from one friend to another(2.)going by yourself to give the book(3.)directly throwing the book towards your friend
