Hello, here is your answer -
The temperate zone lies between the Tropic of Cancer and the Arctic zone in the northern hemisphere and between the Tropic of Capricorn and the Antarctic Circle in the southern hemisphere. The temperate zone in both the northern and southern hemisphere do not get the direct rays of the sun. So, the Temperate Zone is a region of moderate climate :neither too hot nor too cold. It has four distinct season, that is spring, summer, autumn and winter. Europe, Northern Asia, North America, Great Britain and Japan fall in the northern temperate zone while New Zealand, Southern part of South America, Australia and also South Africa lies in the southern temperate zone.
