It is because..
first we may know that deforestation means cutting down of trees for humans personal use.
We all know plants are very important as they give us the precious air to breathe which is why I am writing this answer and at the same time taking up carbon dioxide.
excess amount of carbon dioxide leads to the heating of the earth as by trapping more radiation from the space which we is greenhouse effect..
so, if u cut plant then who is going to play the part of the carbon cycle, which is a very important thing..
Next, fossil fuel they are the decomposition of plant and animals by the microorganisms.
Very important is this is that is take 1000's of year for fossil fuel to decompose and come to life to be used by us..
fossils fuel are used by us daily in our life and most important thing is that fossils fuel are in a limited stock..

so, Normally deforestation and excess burning of fossil fuel lead to global problem as co2 is increasing the heat and hence many snow glaciers are melting which is very threatening..

so it is very important that we plant more and more trees and reduce the use of fossil fuel to save our beautiful earth...

Note: If we do not stop doing all these then human will extinct not the earth because earth would keep on spinning and when we all extinct then surely earth would start producing new species that may be able live on it and all this may start from the beginning again..

hope u enjoy reading this, save earth it will save u!
