Deforestation is desirable for the lands which can be converted into cultivated fields and farms. Due to rapid increase in population, we need more land for house and agriculture purposes and don't forget the use of Wood in many industrial and non industrial fields.
And it is also undesirable because we are now seeing the noticable changes in environment. Global warming, Forest fire, low precipitation or even breakdown of glaciers, these are the some of the changes we notice that directly or indirectly lead to Deforestation.
