Dear Student,

◆ Degradable waste Vs non-degradable waste -

  1. Degradable waste gets decomposed in nature non-degradable waste doesn't decompose.
  2. Degradable waste is harmless while non-biodegradable waste is harmful.
  3. Degradable waste doesn't accumulate while non-degradable waste gets accumulated.
  4. Usually organic waste is degradable while non-organic waste is non-degradable.
  5. Example of degradable waste - fruits, vegetables, paper, cotton, etc. Examples of non-degradable waste - plastic, metals, synthetic polymers, etc.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
