Degrees of comparison is a topic in grammer which deals with adjectives.
there are three degrees : positive , comparative , superlative.
when we compare things , one thing is having something more than the other.
for example , if we compare Sita and Gita ,
we can say that Sita is more good than Gita.
during comparison between two people or things we use comparative degree.
so instead of writing "more good than" , we write "better than"
again , when we compare more than 2 peoples we use superlative degree.
if we are comparing between Sita , Gita , Nita , Lataa and Sita is good among all the others ,
then we say , Sita is the "best" .
here , good is positive degree
better is comparative
best is superlative.
