→more then half elements are discovered in year between 1800 and 1900 . now we are using the modern periodic table .

Q) WHY IT IS CALLED periodic table ?

→by increasing the no of protons , the new nucleus are having same chemical and physical property's same as previous nucleus.

Q) BRIEF ABOUT MODERN PERIODIC TABLE ??

→ it is distributed in the different groups and period .

TOTAL GROUPS >>

→18

TOTAL PERIOD >>

→7

 • it contain metal, non metal metalloids .
 • it have total 118 element
 • it contain noble gas

it is distributed in the different blocks

 1. s block
 2. p block
 3. d block
 4. f block

⇒s block >> it contain metal like calcium , lithium , sodium etc

<font color="purple"><i>The periodic table, also known as the periodic table of elements, is a tabular display of the chemical elements, which are arranged by atomic number, electron configuration, and recurring chemical properties. The structure of the table shows periodic trends.

The periodic table of elements arranges all of the known chemical elements in an informative array. Elements are arranged from left to right and top to bottom in order of increasing atomic number. Order generally coincides with increasing atomic mass. The rows are called periods.
