Delegation is one of the basic concepts of management leadership. Delegation simply refers to the transfer to authority from senior to his subordinate. But it does not mean abdication i.e escaping responsibility. Though the senior transfers his authority but still he is responsible and accountable for his assigned work. He is supposed to check the assigned work he transferred or delegated to his subordinates from time to time. At last he is answerable and accountable for the same.
