its mean that if supervisor give authority to his subordinates and subordinates doesn't able to complete that taks so that's not mean that subordinates will be responsible for that ,but the superior will be responsible for giving answer to top level

It is true that delegation is not a process of abdication.

When a manager delegates, he provides a strucutre and framework to his employees, based upon which they have to function in the organization.

The manager is still responsible for keeping a check on his employees and ensuring that all of them are performing their role as expected.

Even after delegating, the manager still holds control, authority and accountability for the tasks assigned.
