take relative speed
i.e the speed of A with respect to B is speed of A +speed of B
so the speed of A with respect to B is 124km/h
so the time taken to meet is 250/124

Answer:

They will meet after 1.86 hr from the start.

Explanation:

Given that,

Distance = 250 km

The speed of A = 89 km/hr

The speed of B = 45 km/hr

The relative velocity of A w.r.to b

v_{ab}=v_{a}-v_{b}

v_{ab}=89-(-45)

v_{ab}= 134\ km/hr

For the time ,

Using formula of distance

The speed is equal to the distance upon time.

Now, time taken to cover a distance of 250 km with a speed of 134 km/hr is

t=\dfrac{250}{134}

t = 1.86\ hr

Hence, They will meet after 1.86 hr from the start.
