I live in Delhi. This is my hometown. Delhi is the capital of India. This is a beautiful city. It is located on the banks of river Yamuna. Delhi was born in the Mahabharata period, about 1000 BC. Since then it has seven births. During this period, it faced Aryans, Mughals and the British. Delhi is divided into two parts - Old Delhi and New Delhi. New Delhi is very beautiful. It was built by Lutyens. Old Delhi was constructed during the Mughal period. There is a lot of crowd in old Delhi. In New Delhi, there are beautiful parks and gardens. Nehru Park, Tolkato Garden, Lodhi Gardens and Buddha Park Gardens are worth visiting. Old Delhi has many majestic buildings of great historical significance.
