Delhi is hotter than chennai in summer why? Give reasons

The main reason why this happen is because Chennai is located near a sea shore and Delhi has no water around it. ... Whereas the in the case if Delhi the winds are dry and hot. So the sweat there gets dried quick and the hot temperature there can be tolerated for once.
