Speed of Train = 48km/h

Time taken = 40min

Now,

40min= 2/3hr

so,

TIME = DISTANCE/SPEED

so,

2/3 Hr = x/48

so we get,

x= 32km

Now,

Total distance = 32km

Time for Journey= 32min

= 8/15hr

So,

SPEED =D/T

speed = 32/8/15

speed = 32*15/8

speed = 60kmh
