Respected principal Sir, teachers and teachers and my dear companions, greet you all. I am a student studying in class ....... who wants to give a speech on sanitation on this occasion. Cleanliness is a very good habit, it keeps us happy physically, mentally, socially and intellectually. It is absolutely true that cleanliness starts from home. Cleanliness is a very good arrangement, whether it is home, workplace, school, college, government or private buildings, hotels, restaurants, airports, railway stations etc. The level of hygiene should be very high, which is only possible if all of them try together. This is not the work of only one person. It requires continuous support and proper understanding between all individuals.

Cleanliness reflects positive energy on its side and it can affect everyone. Due to good understanding among the good citizens, strict government rules, higher education level and people in developed countries, the standard of cleanliness is generally very high. A person with a good habits can change the environment of the home, however, a country with good citizens can change the environment of the planet as well as its future. To show our true potential throughout the world, we must maintain cleanliness throughout the country. This is only the power through which the respect can be obtained, because a large land, power, and rich natural resources do not matter at all due to lack of cleanliness.

Maintaining cleanliness in any country depends on the level of education, poverty, country's population etc. The most important factor is education because good education can reduce poverty levels and provide relief from the growing population. If the citizen of the country is educated then he will maintain cleanliness throughout the country. He can also transfer his good habits to the next generation. In India, many hygiene campaigns are being run by the government, however, due to the high rate of illiteracy, no one has got much success. More recently, the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, launched the Clean India Campaign, a cleanliness campaign which is quite successful.

This is a very serious subject and if we want to really develop India, then we have to maintain cleanliness in our country which we can start better from our home. We have to understand that our country is our home and there will be no problem after that. Being a citizen of the country, we are all responsible for cleansing that dirty place, whatever we see. We must keep our roads, travel destinations, historic sites, schools, colleges, offices etc. very clean.

Cleanliness is the key to good health.
