Actually the mendelleev table had many limitations:-

• Anomalous pairs of elements :- some elements  with higher atomic weight were placed before elements with less atomic weight.

• Position of lanthanides and Actinides:- They were placed in 2 seperate rows instead of the main frame of the table.
