The demerits of Sarv Siksha Abhiyan are as follows:-

1. Misuse of funds :-

• The funds provided by the government are being misused by the officials.
• The funds are meant for the betterment of the students.
• The government is providing funds for the study of students.
• But the students are not getting enough facilities and the officials who are involved in the scheme , are taking all the profits.

1. Improper management:-

• There is no proper monitoring.
• The is no information about the funds used , students attending the class or not , proper recruitment of teachers etc.
