ANSWER

Democracy can applied to all spheres of life and can take many forms. It makes a basic sense of decision making.

Democracy can applied to all spheres of life and can take many forms. It makes a basic sense of decision making.A democratic decision involves consultation with and consent of all those who are affected by that decision. Those who are not powerful have the same say in taking the decision as those who are powerful. This applies to a government, a family or any other organisation. Thus democracy is a principle that can be applied to any sphere of life. No democracy is ideal, it may take its own form according to the sphere given to the expansion of scope of rights of an individual. For example, Indian democracy is different than democracy in US or UK or China.
