it is same as in dictatorship.

people are discriminated according to their caste , creed , religion , sex , rich or poor it continues till now .

no democracy can change or Stop this problems.

only some lower caste people got reservation in different areas such as schools , jobs etc.

but this problems are not be controlled by democracy in our country.
