Democracy seems to be failing in reducing poverty and inequality.
The poor people form a majority of voters in the country.
However, the party do not seem to be as keen on considering the question of poverty and inequality.
One major reason for this is the growing role of money power in parties.
Due to this, parties do not want to do anything which will upset the rich.
However, at the same time, we have nothing to prove that non democracies are successfull in these two aspects.
After all, democracy is people's own government.
