Democracy is the most challenging form of government. We live in india which have democratic form of government. Democracy provides equal rights and opportunities to the people. It acts as a safeguards for those who are considered inferior in this society. Democracy is far more better than dictatorship. So we can say that democracy is a boon for all citizens of India. But as every thing have two sides now it's time for other side. The democracy system as practiced in India has not delivered what was expected of it. Sure, there had indeed been certain things that were taken for granted in India like freedom of thought and expression, but what have we acheived by them?. The freedom of expression has given us freedom to express but has it given any chance to change what is wrong?. No, the system has seen to it that, though there are laws, nothing can be effected. So by this we can say that it is bane too.
