Democracy is based on elections and they involve political competition. Politicians thus have to play dirty tricks like rigging,buying votes etc to win the elections.

Answer: It  is true  that democracy is all about political competition and power play . There is no scope to morality.

Explanation:

All the political leaders and parties wants to form their government and as a result there is lot of competition. When there is competition between political parties then the ministers play dirty tricks to win the elections like ragging, capturing the booth and also it results to corruption. therefore there is no scope for morality.
