Democracy is best suited to produce better results

Explanation:

  • No culture will totally and permanently settle disputes between various classes. We will undoubtedly, though, learn to accept certain differences and to establish bargaining strategies for differences. To this end, democracy is best suited to achieve this result.
  • Non-democratic governments also blind themselves and internally eradicate social distinctions. Democratic systems have a definite added advantage of coping with socioeconomic disparities, disputes and divisions.

However, in order to accomplish this result, democracy must satisfy few conditions:

  1. It should be known that democracy is not just majority rule perspective. The majority would therefore compromise with the opposition in order to represent the popular opinion. The views of majority and minorities are not immutable either.
  2. It is also crucial that the rule of majority not become the rule of majority groups in terms of religion or ethnicity or language, etc. A majority rule means that, in the event of any decision or in the event of any referendum, separate individuals or parties represent or form a majority.
  3. Democracy is only fair because any person has a chance to be in the majority "at some point in time." If someone is disqualified from "taking part in democracy" by birth, by caste, opinion, religion, etc., the democratic rule stops being "accommodative" to him or her.
