"Democracy is not free from evils" this statement means that democracy also have some of it's own drawback. We can't say that democracy promises a fault free governing system.

Some of the demerits of democracy are:

▪◽♦ It takes a lot of time in taking decisions.

▪◽♦ There may a change of corruption.

▪◽♦ Election campaign is fundamental activity of democracy and in the present era it just becomes a game of power.
