 It is very correct to say that democracy is only a kind of government. It is not a form of ideal government because it does not have any magical solution to the problems like poverty, corruption, etc. There may be some drawbacks like delay in decision making, defection or absence of morality, but all these can be minimized by continuous and combined efforts.
