democracy is the rule of the majority .the poor in majority. so democracy must be a rule of the poor .how can this not be the case?

Are you aware about dirty tricks e.g. giving money to them, giving beer at the time of election played by the politicians to favour the poor people.

due to improper/unsufficent eduction they don't known about their welfare.

3) they don't have enough resources to fight in elections.

4) lack thinking power e.g. they thought that casting a vote do nothing about their condition.

Democracy is a type of system in which people have the power to elect their representatives.

• Democracy is the rule of the majority and in our country poor is the majority, so democracy must be the rule of the poor.
• This can not be the case as the poor do not know well their rights.
• During election time, leaders of the political parties give them some monetary benefits so that they cast votes for them and make fake promises.
• After they come into power they do not fulfill the promises they made.
• Poor when are made aware of their rights by the others but they do not want to get in this and want only basic necessities to be fulfilled.
