Hølà mate❤️.

Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants turn carbon dioxide and water into food using energy from sunlight.

For photosynthesis to occur, plants need sunlight, water, carbon dioxide and chlorophyll. Through the process of photosynthesis plants convert light energy into chemical energy. They use this energy to make food which they store as sugars. ... Plants get the water needed for photosynthesis from their roots.

Sunlight is needed during photosynthesis, it play a very important role during the reaction. During the reaction of photosynthesis water gets converted into glucose and oxygen. The reaction requires light energy, which is absorbed by green substance called chlorophyll. Photosynthesis takes place in leaf cells.

The most important factor for photosynthesis is light. The rate of photosynthesis depends on the quantity and quality of light. The chlorophyll molecule in green leaves absorb light, get excited and emit electrons. The emitted electrons are used in the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP).

If plants do not get sunlight, they cannot produce chlorophyll and they will lose their green color and eventually die. If plants lack any of the other things they need to grow, they will die. Note that some plants are not green, although they do have chlorophyll.

hope it helps you.
