$\frac{2kg}{L}(\frac{1000g}{1kg})(\frac{1L}{1000mL})(\frac{1mL}{1cm^3})$

= $\frac{2g}{cm^3}$

We have assumed the density as 2 kg per liter and on unit conversion from kg per liter to gram per $cm^3$ the density is still 2. It proves that both are units equivalent of density.
