Solution:- We know that:

1 kg = 1000 g

1L = 1000 mL

and, 1mL=1cm^3

Let's say the density is \frac{2kg}{L} . Let's use dimensional analysis to do the unit conversion using above conversion factors:

\frac{2kg}{L}(\frac{1000g}{1kg})(\frac{1L}{1000mL})(\frac{1mL}{1cm^3})

= \frac{2g}{cm^3}

We have assumed the density as 2 kg per liter and on unit conversion from kg per liter to gram per cm^3 the density is still 2. It proves that both are units equivalent of density.
