Demonstrate with activity that some solid can be directly converted into gas.

This process is called sublimation. Take a naphthalene ball/camphor/solid carbon dioxide. Keep it outside for a while. Now go back to that place and take a look. We can see that there will be no naphthalene ball/camphor/solid carbon dioxide. Coz it changes its stae of matter into vapour. The activity's completed. Hope this helps.
