Dendrite ---(a) Cyton --- (b)Axon --- end point of neuron

The journey of a nerve impulse begins from the Dendrites which are the receptors on a neuron and present on Cyton.

They receive message from the other cells and the message is then transmitted to the other cells by the Axon which is the end of a neuron.

The Axon contains some Nodes of Ranvier which help transmit the message to other cells in the fastest time. Hence Cyton is a and the axon is b.
