ANSWER:
The odd one is collenchyma.
REASON:
- Collenchyma is a plant tissue.
- Dendron, nissles granules, axon, axon ending are the part of neuron in animal tissue.
Explanation:
COLLENCHYMA:
- It is a living simple tissue of a plant.
- It gives mechanical support to the petiole of young leaves .
- It is associated with chloroplast and therefore performs photosynthesis.
- Collenchyma forms the hypodermis of dicot stem.
- They have thickening at the corners of the cells.
NEURON:
- It is also called neural tissue.
- These are absent in plants.
- A neuron has the following parts : dendrites or dendrons , cyton or cell body , axon.
- Dendrites are branches arising from cyton . They conduct the impulses towards the cyton.
- Cyton consists of cytoplasm , nucleus and nissles granules.
- Nissiles granules are nothing but the endoplasmic reticulum associated with ribosomes. They are the site of protein synthesis.
- Cyton has a long thread like filament called axon. Axon has cytoplasm called axoplasm.
- Axon is surrounded by neurilemma. In PNS myelin sheath is formed by Schwann cells.
- Axon conducts the impulses away from cyton. Axon terminates in few branches called axon terminals.
- Axon terminals have synaptic knobs associated with them. These synaptic knobs contain neurotransmitters like acetylcholine.
