Dimensions of a container:

Breadth (b) = 55 cm,

Height (h) = 40 cm,

Let length = l cm ,

 Capacity \: of \:the \:container = 180 \:litres

 \implies l \times b \times h  = 180 \times 1000 cm^{3}

 \implies l = \frac{ 180000}{b\times h }

 \implies l = \frac{ 180000}{55 \times 40}

 \implies l = 81.8181\ldots

 \implies l \approx 82 \:cm

Therefore.,

 Length \:of \:the \:container = 82 \:cm
