y -x = 3, y = 3+x ----------(1)

putting 1 in 2

(x+7)/(y-2) = 2 --------------(2)

(x+7) / (3+x-2) = 2

(x+7) / (x+1) = 2

x+7 = 2x + 2

x = 5

putting value in 1

y = 3+x = 3+5 = 8

the fraction is 5/8
